I was very saddened to hear of Cliff's passing.He was the most kindest person that I had ever had the pleasure of knowing and his love for Christ definitely showed.I met Cliff twenty years ago when he was at Broad Street UMC and have enjoyed his talks we would have when we would run in to one another in town and not to mention his friendship.He definitely had a tremendous sense of humor and could definitely sing.I know I will see him again one day in heaven.I guarantee he has everyone in heaven laughing at his jokes.My deepest sympathies are with all of his family and may the good Lord comfort you during these difficult times ahead.

I would like to share my deepest sympathies. I met Cliff 40 years ago when I was a teenager growing up in Shinnston. I think he was at the Haywood UMC at the time. He would work church camps in the summer, and I was his "helper". He had a tremendous sense of humor, and he could sing! It has been ages since I saw him, but I have not forgotten him. I will always remember Cliff as one of those who helped chart my path in the right direction.

We are so sorry to hear of Cliff's passing. We have so many fond memories of him. His support and interest in the LCHS music program was absolutely fantastic. Story shared: Painting the church

When I was fourteen, Cliff, Garland Dobson, and I painted the Waldeck UM Church. The three of us painted the whole church except for the top of the bell tower.we did not have a tall enough ladder to reach that part. So Cliff came up with a plan. He would climb to the top of the ladder and Garland and I would take turns climbing on Cliff's shoulders and paint that high spot. We got finished and there was no doubt God was there helping us. Absoulutly one of the dumbest things I ever did in my life. I am sure Cliff thanked God for watching over us many times. I know I did. Rest in the arms of Jesus, Cliff.

Cliff was a permanent fixture at our house early in his ministry. I would like to think everything he learned he learned from my PopPop; but I know that's not true. But I think Pop did teach him a good sense of humor would get him through the hard times. I saddened to learn his family and congregations are experiencing this great loss. Thank God for hope and knowledge of reuniting in heaven.

Cliff meant so much to me and Missey. We are both saddened to here of the suffering that he endured. We both want you to know how much we loved you, Leanor,Sherrie, Andrea and Patrick.
